What make you so certain that conditions in Iraq will improve? Once we take to oil and run, another despot will appear out of the dry sands.

Zero, re:

1. "This is a war worth fighting.."

Why? What is our principal goal? What progress are we making in achieving that goal? What is the likely outcome in 3 months, 6 months, a year, 5 years, 10 years? What are the likely "unintended consequences of our invasion and continued occupation? What are the motivations of those that oppose us there?

2. "[I]f you wish to align yourself with a future of prolonged hardship and suffering for the Iraqi people, this is certainly your choice, but you've chosen the wrong side of history..."

What do you see that indicates a better and brighter future for the Iraqi people? Who is likely to win control of Iraq IF we let them choose for themselves? What will the rights of the various minority religions be? What rights will women have? How much support for international, fundamental terrorists will exist in Iraq? How will they view our "enlightened" invasion and occupation?

"A war worth fighting?" I'd be interested in hearing some logical and persuasive analysis on your part. You'll have to excuse my skepticism; I'm not too impressed with either your heart or the quality of your bald-faced conclusions so far.
