My Dear Ms. Lawrence:

Those unfortunate people who have lost their jobs and/or careers or who are graduating from America's great universities and colleges every semester in droves who cannot find even their first jobs will just have to be patient and wait for that luxury to trickle down from beneficent generosity of the nation's wealthiest that Mr. Bush has blessed with truly magnificent tax savings.

In the meantime, which may never happen in this current dismal state of the US economy, they all might find it necessary to relocate.

To where the jobs are.

You remember: in the 1980s, the Rust Belt fled to the South. Many bumper stickers in Houston circa 1980 read:
"Will the last one out of Michigan please turn out the lights?"

This time, thanks to the truly revolutionary benefits of "globalization for all," the relocate involves "transferring," without paid "transfer" moving expenses, to the other side of the world.

To put those master's degrees from notable US institutions of higher education to WORK. Those with student loans may actually find that it may require 15 years or more to repay the loans, as starting salaries overseas are about 1/5th of those here in the US, were there any jobs here like all of those being permanentaly outsourced to the Subcontinent and Far East.

I would find it very interesting to go through my alma maters' placement offices at this particular time in history.

I wonder what they recommend these days to new graduates willing to relocate? Get a passport, tetanus shots and work visas in order to live in Bangladesh?

See the world -- it's a great opportunity!

lb
