If you wanted to know about the view of the American people regarding the Vietnam war, would you interview former American draft dodgers living in Canada, For part of the story, that would be perfectly reasonable. Back then I supported the war, (even though I figured on fighting there when I got out of high school), but now I see it as a waste of American resources that it would have been better to have stopped earlier. My beliefs haven't changed. The goal of trying to support the spread of communism was worthy. And should have been aided with supplies, etc. But American troops in SVN were unwise. The problem was NVN's border with China.
