The plane ride wouldn't be cheap from the east coast either.

$255.00 isn't too bad for 3 nights at the LV Flamingo imo.

Tim, as the time approaches you ought to be able to get a good deal on airfare and a room. The top-tier hotels (Bellagio, Venetian) are pretty stable in pricing, but the others are not (although there was a time in late 2001, early 2002 that you could get a room at the Venetian for $70 a night ;-)

I'm on Hilton's mailing list. Their most recent offer was $55 a night.
