It started a long time before 2001, Lizzie.

It started many years ago when co's could hire any programer they wanted to, they just didn't want to pay up for anyone over the age of 36 who was hitting the high point of the earnings curve.

And the younger ones were gettign better and beetr salaries, so the co's started to import labor, just like the farmers import the workers from mexico for the harvest because whitey wont work for peanuts.

The tech and financial and dotcom co's learned a lot from the big farm owners.

It started a long time before 2001.

Liz, I hear Arianna wants to be your next governor. The good news is that more people are now moving out of CA for other states than moving in. Maybe there's no connection, but the job picture should improve. ;-)

Just sold 1/3 of my FORM, used the proceeds to buy netgear (NTGR).
