Hmmm! a fine line you tread ;o)

I was not under the impression that the courts enacted laws in this country. Usually we are supposed to elect based on a platform wherein we may find (if we are lucky) a semblance of laws, or guidelines for such, that
may 'Wrong headed Young offender's act..'
OR
may not 'cancelling GST or Free Trade LOL'
OR
I've been wasting my vote all these years

be enacted by parliament.. Again the devil is in the details or omission of same, no ? leaving room for the courts to 'interpret' and often produce results which would have been heartily opposed by the populace... (or endorsed)

Interpretation ... Hmm! smells like a Québec referendum question LOL. BTW I guess that is an example of mob rule with the participation of prime ministers past and present.

Again also on the mob rule that is a hard question in a country that is perpetually (OK in recent history) ruled by a minority of the population..

Now I come back to my question a few people are smarter than many people... ?

To clarify on the mob rule no, a process is obviously required which really allows for debate and a cooling off period of sorts.

Just musing but where do all these laws come from that so many don't want...

As far as 'Jurisprudence'.. I guess that's the problem .. it's seems to have been subverted.. and I keep hearing that Damn Robot Danger... Danger Will Robinson...

Kastel.... a disaffected voter.

While My Guitar Gently Weeps

I look at you all see the love there that's sleeping
While my guitar gently weeps
I look at the floor and I see it needs sweeping
Still my guitar gently weeps
I don't know why nobody told you how to unfold your love
I don't know how someone controlled you
They bought and sold you.

I look at the world and I notice it's turning
While my guitar gently weeps
With every mistake we must surely be learning
Still my guitar gently weeps
I don't know how you were diverted
You were perverted too
I don't know how you were inverted
No one alerted you.

I look at you all see the love there that's sleeping
While my guitar gently weeps
Look at you all...
Still my guitar gently weeps.
