Re: California Yes this state has its issues but the core of our problem is Bush for keeping the worldwide economy in a perpetual state of war, imo. Bush doesn't come to Silicon Valley. He made one visit, once, to a defense firm up here for 1/2 hour. We were hearing mumblings about a year ago that Bush wanted to win Ca in 04. Last I read, he had given up. Good- because he has no chance here. The Bush economy is stagflation and there is no reason for it. The last time we had stagflation was the 70s when we were a manufacturing economy and US built products didn't work. Now we have a tech industry which is the envy of the world. Why the heck do we have stagflation? One word- Bush.
