Yeah, well I don't sell covered calls much. When I do it is if I've already decided to sell a stock, and instead of just selling it outright I sell an at the 2-4 week call and grab the extra 4% premium or whatever it is. Don't mind if I miss the upside, because I was going to sell the stock anyway. Of course, if the stock tumbles 20% before expiration, I end up with egg on my face (and usually remain a buy and hold guy until the stock gets to my sell price again). Been doing this with QCOM lately, actually.
