Re:Sausalito is a little too cold for my taste, especially right on the water. Nice place to visit when the fog isn't in. "

Occasionally I think about how life would have been had we done the Kappas Marina thing but the dampness was something I couldn't get around. My daughter lived in Sausalito in a house build into the hill, she had a million dollar view and a house that was ready to collapse any moment, uninsurable but she was a renter then. She now lives in a crackerbox in SF. MP

Look at the "picture local to this property" :
realtor.com
Yeah, maintenance is going to be steep, but $230K doesn't seem to outrageous for an eclectic property, especially compared to:
realtor.com
for $300. or:
realtor.com
for $350. I was looking for the shoe house, but it must have sold, I think it was $125K. In the same area, one mile from Penn State is:

four units for < $10K $12/mo split between four? How about some urban renewal? This area lost for good? Not like I'm interested you know, my cup of tea is more like "Lucky Way":
realtor.com
for a fixer. Beats living across the street from spook central or down the street from terrorRus. Must be some block party, I bet Wi-Fi don't work there.
