I have only one interest -- improving the national security of the United States.

And if Bush had followed your strategy, the US would have immediately been sucking up to Kim Jong Il the moment he revealed they had been continuing their nuclear program all along...

And you probably would have been willing to pay any price to prevent that...

Just like Carter and Clinton did back in 1994... which led to the recent crisis and the US spending taxpayer treasure subsidizing a totalitarian regime with no appreciable gain...

Outbursts like the one we saw from Bolton will convince the North that we are bent on war.

My god!! You are a N. Korean "agent"!! Why in the hell would you care about what Bolton says, when you ignore all the bombastic and ABSOLUTELY WARLIKE THREATS issuing from Kim's regime??

So Bolton doesn't get invited to the negotiations... I'm sure he's wearing his "infamy" as a badge of honor over at State.. If that's the most punative measure Kim is able to come up with in order to "save face", then our leverage with N. Korea, since Hu's message to Kim, must be rather strong...

Why is it so hard for you to understand that getting what you want -- as in six-sided talks -- is not a victory if six-sided talks are bad for our interests and bad for our national security?

You should ask your boys, Carter and Clinton, that question. They gave Kim Il Sung nearly everything he asked for... and the minute he died his son reneged on every promise AND THREATENED US NATIONAL SECURITY because he would not permit full and transparent inspections..

It's a clear sign that your approach is tantamount to causing HARM to US national security..

Just face it GST.. you were wrong... Bush and Cheney had it right by adopting a multi-lateral approach..
