thanks for your summary. Where to see longer term interest rates headed if indeed the intermediate term for stocks is down in a significant way?

Will there be a flight back into bonds after the severe selloff or is the derivatives & hedging situation so unwieldy that it will take on a disasterous life of its own. Many on this board have indicated that its the credit bubble is THE bubble, but crisis seems to feed it rather than kill it in the last 16 years...
