A neutral observer might point ... What the "neutral observer" might point to depends upon how informed the "neutral observer" is. Does the "neutral observer" understand the Arabic concept of ummah? Does the "neutral observer" know (or care) what Al Azhar says? To be of any import, neutrality is insufficient. The observer needs competence. Surely the jury still out For how long? Even the pro-war people say the "window of opportunity" is closing. I've seen no one that believes that the "window" will still be open come November. So we're six days into the "make or break" quarter. The jury may still be out, but the jury room door is starting to open. JMO lurqer
