Powell character and integrity rises above the partisan politics. Which is probably why his ratings are a good 30 points higher than bush, his boss. The consensus was that back then, the Dems failed to define themselves, except as the "anti-Bush," which is why they lost big time. What a crock...bush has ridden the fear train, the 9/11 fear campaign...that is an overwhelming short term advantage, as it was for his father after the war in 1991. and neglecting to post anything positive or otherwise spinnable into a negative, for the express purpose of getting someone else into power. About THIS..I HONESTLY cannot find anything positive to post about this man's policies. NOTHING. DO you still think I am partisan...ok...then, about this.
