Scott,
It is the other side of a very troubling coin. It is the way I used to think, i guess. i am not at all convinced Pat is right, but it is a strong case on what we should do from this point. One thing to remember before Pat becomes a guru again is that he strongly opposed Bush 41 and the Gulf War. Now adopting the father as a hero to go after the neocons is disingenuous to say the least. We are not in the quagmire yet, but Bush needs a Plan B if the current fighting does not go away over the next several months. For the sake of peace, the region and the people of Iraq, i hope we get this under control. If not and we do leave we will have created a fertile area for all sorts of political and religious movements that will work against american interests. I hope you folks are rooting for Bremer and the neocons so the Pat scenario does not come to be. Mike
