I have not pretended there is no basis. I've been agreeing with you right along. But there is a visible a gap in our attitudes. There is a difference between being tolerant and being accepting. I see no advantage to preferring tolerance over acceptance. If one is inclined to make rules about such things, that is. :)

There is no inherent conflict that I am aware of.

You've had enough of this discussion, I see. I can probably agree with you on that, too.
