We both know if Dean were to receive the Dem nomination, Rove et al will paint him as a pinko, "soft-on-defense" left-wing wacko. Has nothing to do with what he really is, but with a hundred million dollars to spend in repeating a lie, you need some inoculation. Perhaps the best would be a carefully chosen running mate. Don’t know as much as I would like about W. Clarke, but was wondering if this topic is discussed in your Dean readings?
