I'm about 70%. So if the bull does come back, I am pretty diverse and should do OK. A nice mix of solid techs, blue chippers, household names with long histories, high growth and etc, etc....a couple of crapshoots as well, but not the OTC penny stock gambles. One's with legit shots at doing well. And 30% cash allows me to buy if we get whacked, something I could not do if I was 100% vested, as I will not use margin. Margin is the kiss of death, especially in a down market and yes, even in a bull market. When the bull is running and everything is flying high, people usually go heavy on margin, without much thought. Then, if you are greedy and dont cash out with profits, and instead "wait it out", you could be in dire trouble. Nope, if I aint got it, I wont spend it. Good luck

Re MArgin:
I have been running full margin for many months
Was up 50% for last three months, but that was 3 days ago.
Have been selling for last 3 days and will be about even with 3 months ago
Was planning to be out in October anyway but it difficult to make the decision to sell all
Today I only own one stock , but have keep some Leaps on others
So a KG$ notes, margin probably has more risks than any gains are worth, and a lot more worry involved
In my case the need for constant monitoring has interfered with what I want to accomplish elsewhere.
Rebuilding an old MBZ, work on my house and my fish ponds, and many more things
Way too much market study required.
I will be trading again, anytime soon, and will buy some stocks on dips
Sig
