nobody knows for sure that jobs aren't returning, however, we have lost over 3 million jobs since Bush took office, admittedly some of that was due to the recession, but anecdotal evidence suggests some of it was offshoring too.

I think the core issue with the jobs situation for me, is not that jobs are leaving the US. Most in the US I believe, after seeing the results of protective legislation in the 70s, believe in the free market system. But the problem is, anyone can see the deck is stacked against the US worker in the form of taxes (as opposed to the investment taxes Bush supports), immigration and other priorities of this administration.

On Fox this last weekend they asked Bush about offshoring and his response was retraining at community colleges, anybody see that? I mean what is Bush totally blind or what (the displaced workers who have been "offshored" tend to be ivy league, PhD types- white collar, high income).
