With the bulk verity of consumer goods that are showing up. They have buying clout. Sam's has to compete with it's parent, but WM has the best buying clout. IMO-most food and retail suppliers have identified,and targeted wholesale clubs as a priority for their own sales growth.

Count me as a countervoice or perhaps as evidence for possible growth. :-)

Walmart - yes. Clubs - no. I can't understand why I should pay some stupid membership fee to shop at a store. Please tell me they abolished the idiotic fee since I visited them 4 years ago. Maybe then I'll go there again.

I can just as well shop in the grocery shops, Walmart, department stores. Cameras, computers??? Isn't that what Internet shopping is for? At least that's where I buy them.

Jurgis - thank you for shopping at Amazon.com, btw, have you paid your monthly fee? :-P
