the threat is stronger than the execution Another interpretation of this is that normally you have multiple threats, and your opponent has to worry about all of them. Once you start to actually execute one of your threats, then often you are often forced to give up your alternative threats and the opponent has less to worry about. I tried hard to come up with a plausible biotech investing analogy, but was unable to do so, and so alas this post too must be labeled (in a postfix style rather than the normal prefix) OT. <g> Peter
