The search for truth and justice has nothing to do with this one bud.
Why did the jury think differently and regret convicting the man when they learned the true situation after the trial? The 12 critical people seem to disagree with you.

There is such a thing as jury nullification and it's legal. Lawyers and judges don't like you to know about it, much less do it. It makes their work unimportant.
