I think the pro-labor and pro-immigration reform plank is a solid one for Howard Dean to base his campaign on. If he keeps that the centerpiece of the campaign (which he easily can, considering that the economy will clearly be in dumps in a year's time and Greenspan has pretty much emptied his bag of tricks), the Bush camp will really have no meaningful way of countering it.
