I have nothing against Ahnie. If HE wins, that's fine with me. What I DON'T want (and what is all to likely) is for Bustamante to win. I would rather have the whole recall fail and have a disgraced, termed out Davis in office in '04 than have Bustamante in and able to run again.

SO: Vote against the recall to defeat the whole thing.

Vote for Ahnie in case it does pass and hope he wins.

AND Ahnie can run again in '04 anyway.

Getting the guv's mansion is no prize now anyway. Whoever gets it will have to cut services and raise taxes and will probably be defeated for what he has to do in '04.

So vote for the recall and Bustamante. :-)

I am not for letting him ride out his term either. He needs to held accountable. It has to begin somewhere.
