You want to say that somehow I provide "fodder", especially if I support politicians who support things like the Constitutional definition of marriage, precisely because it expresses the residual idea that there is something not as good about being gay. I want to say that any lummox who took the refusal to define marriage with indifference to orientation as permission to beat up on someone is too far gone already to require a license to do it. There is nothing inflammatory there, nothing that someone who otherwise did not already have the inclination would find led him to bash anyone, literally or otherwise.
