Let's see. How's this one. Discuss the proposition: Resolved: that the public should only educate children at public expense through age 14, at which time they will be presumed to have learned enough, if they are capable of learning it, to hold down basic employment in a factory, restaurant, or other menial work, keeping them off of welfare and the public purse, and that any further education, which simply enables people to earn higher wages for their benefit, not society's benefit, should be paid for by the parents or student, not by the public at large.
