The problem in Afghanistan is a harbinger of the problems that will face Iraq. The reason is that bottom line we give only lip service to rebuilding those nations as we try to do it on the cheap. It will cost fortunes. One of the reasons I was against the Iraqi adventure was that I thought Afghan was an unfinished job and I don't like doing more than one thing at a time. It usually ends up that nothing is done right and that is what is playing out.
