Bush is toast in Ca, I've never seen people so angry... never.

You need to get away from the Bay Area to get a true snapshot of contemporary political sentiment. One that is not atypically skewed way left of center. And I think you'll find that angry CA voter sentiment will translate into Davis getting blown out of office, not Bush.
