LOL! What an awesome and depressing flash of insight, senor. We might all still be chatting about the stock market, instead of the next Dr. Strangelove. :) A simple but amazing thought, seemingly dredged from some mythic Normal Rockwell past, rather than this ugly Orwellian present. Thank you for that. We need all the reminders we can get, like POWs reminding each other what ice cream sundaes tasted like or picnics with the family. In my congenital looking for the bright side of the inevitable, I can only think, well, maybe this innoculates the body politic, maybe lying murderers and psychopathic psy-ops practioners are creating their own demise. Certainly looking at the moveon.org crowd, they responded to the right parts of that speech, and reassured themselves, as well as the CSPAN audience.
