He was on his way to Valdez to make his fortune when he met my Mother and Father.....who were plying their trade at various ports including Haines......when he hooked up with them in Haines. He was starving......on his way to Valdez to make his fortune.........when he ran in to them at a little dock. He told them he would work for food. They had lots of food. Everyone on the west coast has lots of food. In fact most Americans have lots of food. Any way........as I was saying.....he was starving and my parents took him in and fed him. M
