To my knowledge they do NOT include the Teacher referred to by mar$ It still does seem rather a coincidence of the greatest sorts Jim , that Adi Da would take up residence right next door to that very same reknowned Hindu teacher's revered site he chose finally , to reside on the island of Kauai . As he founded the first Hindu Temple on the shores of the United States nearly 50 yrs ago , so in Hawaii now the building of that incredible hand-carved Temple goes on . Some millions of pounds of colored granites , above those sacred pools and waterfalls , in one of the most precious places on earth . It would be somewhat folly to not see the coincidence of Da Free John's choosing acquire that place right next door , to what will be one of the USA's & the world's newest architectural wonders , and very special places ...on fresh earth. It was no accident that Da Free John emulated and followed this one incredible mystics journey to that island , and I will only take that as an overt admission on Da's part , that there was some influence , probably dating back some decades to his early days in the Bay Area , where so much of it began....and that teacher managed to draw the attention of some very notable people , in an extremely tactful , gracious and quite powerful way. His was one of the rarer journeys and unique lived lives , one could name of any in this country , or many others in the "west". There is no doubt in my mind , that Adi da was quite aware of him then. I do find Da Free John's moving in right next door somewhat encroaching & overtly transparent, yet in its way very complimentary to that teacher's magnificent force and power to draw ...even "avatars" need to be followers sometimes , and be ready to serve. Money can buy you the "house" , but it rarely succedes in building a temple , especially one that will last, and see pilgrims come from all corners of the earth , for 1000 yrs. And probably much longer... regards Mars PS : It was also a surprise to the tech people over at Apple publishing ,to discover that those trained by that mystic teacher also became recognized as the most adept users of that software , and Apple has sent their people over there to be trained and to learn and study ...as they publish the largest Hindu magazine outside of India for these many years and several decades. There are many ways to teach and acknowledge ....
