Dean is like that, he makes you feel good about the future when you listen to him.

I agree on the optimism part, but think that the only person who comes close to this is Leiberman....all the others do is harp with little ideas for improvement.....at this point Leiberman is the only Dem I would vote for, and the only one I think who even has a remote chance of winning.

Lizzie,

Re: One thing I have determined these last few years, I want someone in the white house who personifies optimism.

Do you recall Reagan's "Morning In America" ad campaign? That was such a wonderful and well done bit of blarney, or PR, that epitomizes the "optimism" theme.
edition.cnn.com

A scolding Walter Mondale couldn't figure out how to one-up that message.

What I like about Dean is that he can epitomize a return to a more optimist America, and if Bush were to try this, he'd be flabbergasting his audience with joint messages of fear-mongering and hope at the same time. I wonder how Karl Rove is going to try to play both sides of the fence on the fear message.

Re: Hey some of the top chip guys in San Jose are in love with the new Opteron (?) chip from AMD.

One of our fellow SIers, TigerPaw, was on the Opteron design team, should you have any technical questions. Nice to have friends who have a clue. :)
