Ray,

You mentioned the Soros ad a few weeks back and I thought you might find this interesting:

story.news.yahoo.com

Personally, I'm not sure what to make of Soros. If bits and pieces of anecdotal accounts I've heard over the years are even close, he made most of his money as a corporate raider, and it was fairly common for shareholders to get stuck holding the short end of the stick after he got his piece of the pie. On the other hand, his Soros Foundation soros.org appears to champion many of the ideals expressed by quite a few of us as being missing in US Government. I have a lot of trouble trying to reconcile the two very different pictures of the same person.

Anyone care to offer some feedback? Were his corporate raider days really good deals for everyone except for a few shareholders eating sour grapes? Or did Soros get religion and is trying to buy his way into heaven to make up for past dirty deeds?
