Amazing! The money in politics in the U.S. absolutely boggles my mind. To think that Republicans used to incessantly bash the Clintons for their fund-raising.

Jim, Under the nation's new campaign finance law, the group must remain separate from the Democratic Party to accept contributions on the scale of what Soros has pledged. The law bans national party committees from accepting contributions of that size from any source.

Yep, that new campaign finance law is really keeping the money out of politics, is it not?
