I think this is another example of MISUNDERSTANDING the purpose of the Commission for POLITICAL PURPOSES. Typically when we go to war we later review all the issues to find if we can do better the next time. I am not sure Bush even opposes this commission, its merely a question of timing, ie is THIS the right time or should it be conducted AFTER we have completed the mission. It is possible we might actually AID our enemies by disclosing our weaknesses and vulnerabilities. War is NOT and exact science. We have never had one that went by the book and never will. Once the first shot is fired, the book gets thrown out. jdn
