MSI, Ray,

Thanks for the feedback. I think I was mixing Soros up with someone else, but the mention of currency trading jogged my memory. I seem to recall his name coming up quite a bit in the middle of the Asian crisis. Is a currency "trader" the same thing as a currency "manipulator". Whatever.

"Open society" sounds a bit like anarchy. Personally, I doubt most people are responsible enough to handle anarchy as a form of government. Otherwise I'd lean toward the idea he's on the right track in more than a few places. He has enough money and power to make a fairly dangerous opponent to the likes of the Bush Cartel, assuming he's careful about standing next to windows and such.

It'll be interesting to see how this all plays out. If the number of people who understand what's really been happening for the past 2 years eventually reaches a critical mass, the Bush Cartel is going to be in heap big trouble.
