hi thxs for the input. after several days of hunting on their site, i bot a dell refurb for $258 delivered with dell 2400, 2.2 celeron, 40 gig HD, 128 DDR ram, CD, floppy, wordperfect suite 11, mouse, keyboard, xp home, quicken, etc. no speakers, monitor, or modem. 2400 had free shipping at the time i bot.
had to focus on choices that came up on refurb page until the deal of a lifetime came up. most 2400 refurbs were running 300-350, new celeron 2.2 dell 2400 is 340 with free shipping, no monitor.
the abspc site you referenced had pcs for 190-208, BUT - they had no HD< CD, Modem, ethernet card, keyboard, mouse, operating system or any software. not a deal, imo.
i am happy as pink at my new (refurb ) dell. larry
