The Saudis face grave threats from al Qaida and more broadly from their own people. The Saudi government has little popular support and they fear revolution, not invasion. They supported the war in large part to get our troops off their soil. Saddam did not pose a threat to Kuwait or Saudi Arabia and this has nothing to do with our invasion.
