An outrage IMO is all the money being thrown at drugs such as lipitor which lower cholesterol, and leptin which controls fat, when diseases like malaria remain unaddressed by the pharma industry simply bc the people suffering do not have large pocketbooks. When in fact high cholesterol and fat can be treated by a simple change in diet! This is maddening and IMO immoral, one reason why at the moment I would never invest in health care companies. People are dying every day from high cholesterol, fat, and malaria. The difference is that the latter category is the only one which cannot be addressed by behavior changes.
