I think dumping Bush in 04 will fix a lot of things actually. In a way, I think the current Bush economy and dropping poll #s is indirectly fixing stuff too. The Bush people have to be questioning their agendas now, not so a year ago, then they had a free reign. Personally I think Bush is defeated in 04 and when the new president comes in, some pretty overt apologies for this Bush regime will be made internationally and the world will be an upbeat place again.

Excellent post rarebird and right on target!

I would add though the potential for a mass revolt against the Bushies may be even greater than you think if the economic "recovery" -- such as it is -- peters out next year as I think it will.

Excellent, Rare post.

The whole scenario that you lay out was quite visible as the likely outcome of this campaign into Iraq. Few wanted to listen, especially our 'leadership.'
