Well the think the totally technology ignorant do not get is that if one is not thinking about one's career, one can get holed into a technology and become an expert in a small area that is past. That rate at which area of technology become obsolete is accelerating. So any person who works in technology should be looking at the nature of the business they are in and plan. Sadly many do not plan and find themselves down the creek without a paddle. And the jokes whine and complain. Jokes by the lb.
