"The American-led administration in Iraq has received intelligence reports that hundreds of Islamic militants who fled Iraq during the war have returned and are planning to conduct major terrorist attacks."

No need to read further.
This is more propaganda designed to make it seem that those Iraqi's who were glad to be rid of Saddam and who now want to be rid of the USA and who are fighting against an evil occupier who has no regard for the rights of Iraqi's in general are made to look like terrorists. This had to happen because it has been looking like its the average Iraqi who is carrying out these so called terrorist attacks when in actual fact it they are carried out in accordance with the expressed will of the people to be rid of the USA and carried out by the average citizen in self defense. I feel that they are entirely justified in attacking any occupiers. Bush said he would leave after Saddam was brought down but now he says they are staying indefinitely.

The sad thing for US troops is that they are dying for nothing.

And this is another of Bush's lies and tricks in an effort to link Al Queda with Iraq when in actual fact binLaden hated Saddam and the Iraqis had nothing whatsoever to do with 9/11

Bush is winging it and writing his own history as he goes. Its so transparent to those who discern.

Terror Group Seen as Back Inside Iraq

Let's recapitulate this "Keystone Kop" routine.

First, it's welcoming flowers.
Second, it's Baathist "dead enders".
Third, is ... a combination of "hundreds of Islamic militants who fled Iraq during the war have returned" and "fighters from Ansar al-Islam".

If your ideology precludes you from realizing who you are fighting, your chances of winning are nil. Surely, there is a Baathist component and it would not surprise me if Ansar al-Islam is involved. But wake up guys. If every Baathist and Ansar al-Islam cell was eliminated, do you really believe the opposition would cease? Unfortunately, I guess you do.

You make enemies when for a decade you deprive a people of the necessities of life. You make enemies when you call for them to rise against a dictator, only to watch them be slaughtered. You make enemies when you roll your armor through a country killing women and children. You make enemies when you proclaim yourself as liberator, but the people lives are a hellish anarchy. And you've got more enemies than you can count, when the most respected Imams have, as a result of your actions, called for a worldwide jihad.

But to acknowledge all that would call into question your original premise - Iraq as the first step toward hegemony. So, deep in denial and blinded by the hegemonic dream, you ensnare yourself ever deeper into the Tar Baby.
