comparing the death of uday and qusai(sp) to someone assasinating the Bush daughters is laughable. They were key figures in the regime and were personally responsible for torture and oppression. People such as that guy shouldn't be allowed to teach anywhere that receives public funding. Unfortunately that kind of lunacy is the exception rather than the rule in our universities. I have no doubt that had they thrown down their weapons and surrendered that they would be alive today. The author makes it sound as if they were dispatched with a bullet to the back of head after they gave up.

I'm not a big fan of increased domestic surveillance and if it weren't for our pathetic immigration control we wouldn't need it in the first place so in opposing the patriot act I have to agree with him to a certain extent. However such policies were well underway even before 9-11 for example the fbi "carnivore" program that sucks up all the email traffic across the web. They later changed the name to something less ominous but the effect is still the same. I've no doubt that they have something similar that monitors bulletin board traffic too which really makes me nervous but there is little I can do about it. Especially since most people are uneducated morons, thanks to our socialist\fascist public school system which is also dominated by left wing idiots, and don't understand that the govt should be feared and closely monitored. Of course thanks to left wing idiots like him the gun laws which were placed in the constitution to provide a check on the government in the first place are being constanly eroded.

Likewise, does Bush realize that he has spent the U.S. surplus, bankrupted the Treasury and created the largest annual deficit in US history? Under his watch some 2 plus million Americans have so far lost their jobs.

We all know that the economy has it's own rythms that have little to do with who is the president. They can react to them but that is about as good as it gets. If Gore had been elected we would probably still be in the same boat. I'm surprised that nobody here has voiced the same opinion.

In Summary this whole piece is tripe for the most part and I'm amazed that it can be posted here and not draw fire from anyone else. Maybe invading Iraq was ill advised but that doesn't mean that we should all jump on the liberal bandwagon either. Nobody opposed it at the time on either side of the isle and now that we are there we have to see it through.
