No, they will get SS, remember the Govt controls the printing presses and the payments are backed up by IOU's from the Govt. The problem will be what will that cause. I think thats one reason why Bush wants to BEGIN to privatize SS. That way the govt can SLOWLY work itself out of the mess while current payments go into YOUR ACCOUNT IN YOUR NAME. Believe me, IF I were under 40 thats what I would want. jdn
