andy grove is a hungarian jewish immigrant

I am aware of that, although I had forgotten that irrelevant Jewish part. I am not convinced that Andy Grove being an immigrant is driving his viewpoint. Grove's argument appears to be that we will extend Silicon Valley's leading edge longer by continuing to bring in the best and brightest from all over the world. This argument has some merit. However, the visa programs are now often being used to simply bring in cheaper labor, not more qualified labor, and this is the problem.

Arnold Schwarznegger is an immigrant too. What is his position on immigration? Some immigrants like to get in and close the door behind them. Immigration in general, not necessarily hi tech visa workers, seems like one of California's biggest problems. The social services sector is maxed out.
