Here comes some legislation

H.R. 2702 “L-1 Non Immigration Reform Act”
June 17, 2003: Rep Rosa DeLauro (CT-D 3rd) introduces H.R. 2702 “L-1 Non Immigration Reform Act”. The bill limits L-1s to 35,000 per year. Today, there is no limit. L-1s would also not be allowed to work on contract for “third parties”. There are a number of other protections for American workers including limitations on a company being able to lay off an American worker within plus-or-minus 6 months of an L-1 being hired.

H.R. 2688 “Repeal of Authorities Relating to H-1b Visas for Temporary Workers”
July 9, 2003: Rep Tom Tancredo (R-CO 6th) introduces H.R. 2688 “Repeal of Authorities Relating to H-1b Visas for Temporary Workers”. Ends the h1-B visa program.

You can blame Clinton and Gore for lost jobs overseas since they are the ones who supported moving our jobs offshore thru NAFTA, WTO and Most Favored Nation to China. Or are you not up on those facts either.

As far as me, I have trained 3 apprentices in the last year. They salaries are substanually up and I am not going anywhere ... in reference to your article ... and your point is considering Clinton and GOre nailed that one down?

There is work and if I could not find a job I would start my own business. I have always worked for myself. Now I work for one company but I have a company name and so forth should something happen.

An instructor at Purdue once stated, "You are worth only what you can go out and sell yourself for and not a penny more." Problem is most believe they are worth more they they can produce.

LMAO your are so clueless and you just nailed CLinton and GOre as the reason for lost jobs.
