I use "consipiracy" in jest. It is simply history of where Rush gets his marching orders.

The question was, "gee, why does Rush promote the elite?"

He gets daily information from Roger Ailes and Carl Rove. If you ignore for the moment the earlier history of ABC in that article and just focus on what is admitted, Rush gets his daily information from Roger Ailes and Carl Rove and what you are hearing is the party line, albeit from a world-class entertainer.

Which means this, imo: the party line is to attack non-mainstream "bloggers" and internet in general.

Of course any mainstream media tries to dismiss non-mainstream and internet related sources, and Rush is now in that category, but also there's a threat from Dean-type web campaigning that seems less affected by talk radio influence of the past:

What I'm concerned about in these trends, which Rush is a harbinger, is control of the internet, which is a priority for DOJ.
