The big bad economic issues are scaring away the Bush supporters. Yes these are tough issues to solve aren't they, and society as a whole refuses to sweep them under the rug. You can act tough and try to imply that those that dwell on the the US economy are uniformed, don't understand economics or that "its California's fault the US is losing between 50K - 100K jobs/month"... but that isn't really flying. I suggest Bush supporters come up with a plan, other than childish retorts and "putting the economy on ignore".
