I disagree on SWC -- yes it is terribly managed -- but Norilisk is willing to buy it and it's bada management won't stop it from flying if Pd bounces back to 330 ...

Not sure how hedged PAL is -- but I think owning both PAL and SWC isn't a bad combo.

Platinum and palladium are usually found alloyed together with the rest of the "PGM's". I don't think it would be possible to get a pure play on one without the other. (please correct me if I'm wrong) Most likely platinum will drop while pd goes up as they are for the most part interchangeable as catalysts.

The way I've heard it is that they kind of cycle back and forth depending on which one the automakers buy contracts for to meet their needs. Seems like you'd be making a bet on higher auto production by buying platinum\palladium producers or am I missing something?
