Hello Bullionist, I am not particularly concerned about my gold position as long as the following remain true:

(a) Global WAT-WOT is on;
(b) Planet-wide fiat money print-a-thon is still the way to redemption from past sins;
(c) US finds it necessary to finance both by evaporating balance sheet, redistributing tax burden, trash currency;
(d) Japan needs to help by dissipating balance sheet and competitively devalue currency;
(e) China continues with structural economic and potentially still more deflationary political reforms that augment the end-of-bubble deflation export from Japan and the US, going right or wrong;
(f) India is still on path to take advantage of global outsourcing of services, strengthening deflationary forces at the margin; and
(g) The world is still dependent on ME oil.

There are plenty to worry about in the world, but the price of gold and its up trend is not one of my worries.

Chugs, Jay
