I pretty sure the politicians will lay off of it until after the recall election...

They have enacted one of those "save our homes" laws here in FL. RE has soared. Maybe it reduces inventory as people like to stay put rather than reset their property taxes? humm... Just how this is fair taxation is beyond me.

IMHO, California will have to address prop 13 to get back on an even keel. Will they?
